Waiting for Spring

Considering you were shooting into the sun, you did well to get away with so little glare. However, there is still enough there to take form the image a bit. I wonder would it help the image to darken it further and leave the trees almost in silhouette? I think a higher contrast between the bare shape of the trees and surrounding light may work.
