  I think #2 is perfect, beautiful shot.

  #1 is a bit less sharp, somehow it has less impact that #2 (camera wasn’t as good perhaps). Cropping tighter on top might be good to balance the composition. Nonetheless a nice shot, I like how you got the two flowers together. A bit more careful sharpening might be just the thing.

  #3 looks like you has blown perhaps the red channel, the rendition seems to be off, saturated colour and lost definition.
  When I shot nature with digital I found this to happen quite a bit especially with red colours, so I tried to keep an eye on the channels histogram.
  Composition is good.

  thanks for that Martin points taken and yes the the second one was the 5d the other two 350d
