Nikon 14 -24 issue

Haven’t used this lens in a few months, I took it out last week to take a couple of shots and noticed and lower apetures the blur is terrible out at the edge, I recently had it repaired after dropping it, I would be interested in anyones comment who has this lens if they find theirs the same. It is a bit difficult to see in the 800 wide pix

I have the same lens and have never seen edge blur like that on any of my photos, I haven’t used it too much as I only got it a couple of weeks ago.If you would like to meet in the Stephens green area some lunch time bring your camera and lens and I will bring my lens and take some similar photos then compare them, this, as you know is an expensive piece of glass and if it wasn’t repaired properly I would be beating down the door!

Thanks Rusty, for the offer after looking at some of the pics on the flickr gourp for this lens. I have phoned SLR service centre twice today and have not got any reply yet, but they will be getting it back tomorrow to sort out because the repair wasn’t cheap either.
