Macro lens

  Hi,

  Can anyone recomend a good macro lens for a canon 500D? Or what should I be looking for to get good quality close up shots?
  Any info would be gratefull.

  If you are on a tight budget and dont want to go down the canon route. I would suggest the Sigma 105 macro. Very versatile lens

  If you are looking a good Macro lens on a budget then go for the Tamron 90mm Macro lens. Gets as good reviews as the Canon 100mm Macro but a lot less money !!
