My first Travel Magazine print:)
-
GORIOParticipant
Thank you so much to Islands Travel Magazine for using my Photo and Article for their (Feb-Mar) bi-monthly issue. Today’s a many first in my photography hobby and I just want to share this small feat as I owe it to Nature, Travelling and Philippine Tourism.
It’s my first time to be featured using my picture and doing a creative writing stint for a nationwide travel magazine. I’ve always wanted to print my photos before but never had a chance to do it. Now, looking at it in glossy paper is just surreal! Do grab a copy and thanks for your for appreciation in following the Light with me.

JustinitusParticipantWell done Karlo – great work, you are quite right to be pleased with yourself. I have yet to see anything but spectacular photos from you :D
We are leaving for Cebu on Friday and were originally planning to do Bohol and I was looking forward to a 5.30am start up at the Hills. Sadly, the concensus now is that we are heading to Bantayan for a few days and then over to Leyte (home!).
I know Bantayan is small, but do you know of anything worth shooting on the island? We are also heading up to Biliran for a day or so, I was thinking of the thermal springs. Other than that and some street stuff, is there anything on Leyte worth a visit?
Sorry if your not familiar with these areas but any pointers would be greatly appreciated Karlo, thanks and ingats!

hey Justin thanks for dropping by! are you Filipino? Bantayan is a good place to visit over Bohol and if you haven’t seen paradise then that the place to go. Worth shooting would be the exceptionally white sand, coastals, huts, locals and a lot more! regarding leyte i have yet to explore that place, prolly this summer I’ll go to Leyte and Samar for a shoot. Goodluck on your vacation, it will be fun I’m sure! :D
JustinitusParticipantThanks Karlo, looks like Bantayan might not be a disaster after all
Tet, my wife, is Filipina. I’m English. We go back to Leyte every year…and can’t wait!!
Cheers again!
