Wanted: Leica/ Minolta 40mm Summicron

Probably a long shot, but on the lookout for a 40mm summicron. Not pushed which version, but also cannot break the bank on this one, so will need to be reasonably priced.
Owners willing to sell, or even leads on one welcome. I know the Leica club in Ireland is a small one :)

Have you considered a Voightlander “M” Nokton 40mm..
Will try some of my contacts in Germany,might get you a lead on something..

Yes, currently considering a CL body for those times when an M is just that bit too bulky, and a pocketable camera is called for.. not that the spot meter, and 40mm frame lines will go unappreciated either :)
Unfortunately, I’ve almost reached the end of my budget, and probably being optimistic I can snag one in useable condition for no more than about €200. If not, I may make do with my tiny little Canon 35mm f2 on it for the time being.
EDIT: missed your comment on the Nokton, yes, it has quite a good reputation, but must say I like the even smaller size of the Summicron. Price and ability to focus at f1.4 are my other considerations, given the shorter effective baselength of the CL,
