Recommend a good printing lab – in Ireland.

grifter10Participant
Hello all,
This is my first post here.
Im a professional and Im looking for some recommendations for printing labs.
I want to be able to email my prints in and have them posted back.
I tried photobox last week and it worked out at about 65cent per 8×6″ print after postage.
I have tried bonusprint and think they produce about the same quality for about 25cent per print (believe it or not).
Obviously what Im looking for is not neccessarily the cheapest but keen while getting the quality.I suppose my main gripe with a lot of these sites is the impersonal touch.
If the odd print is too bright there’s nobody to ring and have another done and sent on.
Id also like to be able to email in every day yet only have the batch posted out once a week or whatever. Also would prefer to keep my business in Ireland these days anyway.
So could anyone recommend a lab that could accomodate me in Ireland?
Thanks
G.cathaldParticipantI have used these guys in the past and service and quality is very good

AidanMParticipantHi,
I use GMS and have never had any issues. Top quality prints. I use their prints in wedding albums and brides have been delighted.

grifter10ParticipantBarkerPhotographicParticipantHand Imaging Ltd. (Mullingar) are great. You can upload your images to them by FTP. See: http://www.handimaging.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13&Itemid=137″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
ScatmanJackMemberThe Fine PrintMemberI have a similar question (just moved to Ireland) so I’m tagging this on; I’m after a pro-lab for colour work on Fuji Crystal Archive from scanned files, and 40″ or wider material.
stcstcMemberi can do wider than 40″
but fuji crystal archive is an RA4 paper, so not many people have systems setup to print on it at the larger sizes
there are other issues with it too.
1. you wont get the whites as good as on some inkjet papers
2. it has a smaller colour gamut than inkjet based prints on the right papers
3. it actually wont last as long as a decent inkjet print, its not as lightfastmcdonnellsParticipantAnother recommendation for 360 here.
very accomodating and great at recommendation of good mounting types for the images.
Worth a call

eren123ParticipantHello,
I am searching for a good canvas printing lab so can anyone have an idea about it because I want it for my granny.
SeaviewParticipantI’ve used 360-dpi on several occasions and can highly recommend them. If you’re looking for a high quality canvas there’s no one better.
