I think iv made a decision

Ok, Iv finally chosen what SLR camera I want. Its gotta be the Canon EOS 1000D, Although it dosnt have Movie mode, which is quite a let down, I think Its worth buying for £350 off amazon. Its a fantastic camera and seems too take some really good quality images.
From you experience.

Going by the title of your post, I’m not sure that you are making the “best” decision as you say “I think”…. You seem to be determined to get this camera, but you say that you feel let down because of no video. In my experience, all Canon cameras are excellent & very capable of producing stunning results. In my personal opinion, I would leave video to camcorders & use a DSLR for stills, but others might disagree. The price for this camera sounds very good & Amazon are ok for buying stuff from. I think for you to make your mind up, you will need to consider what you intend to shoot & if the 1000D is capable of achieving the results that you want.
