Coronation Tree @ the Sallygap

Taken just under Kippure Mountain, Sallygap, Co. Wicklow, Ireland on 4 March 2010.
3 exposures, Photomatix then levels & Curves in Photoshop.
The history of the Coronation Plantation dates back from 1831, when the marquis of Downshire ordered the plantation of 500 acres of land with several types of trees, mostly pines and larches.

Thks CanonLover. I’ll re-process to tone down the sky. Most of the snow has gone. Remanants still remain at the mountain peaks. Weather is good for the next days….but hardly a cloud is sight :(
