great shot, moon is looking orange to me, should it not be white, like the silhouettes of the cloads and tree.
losts of info on shotting the moon, google it, i haven’t try shotting the moon need a longer lens and maybe nasa might get me closer.

yeah, the moon was just rising when I took this and there was an orange glow to it. one of those times where you’d love to have a longer lens

Very good shot and the tree adds.
I think you need about a 500mm to get a decent moon shot.
Even with my longest lens a 300 mm I am barely able to get a 800*800 pixel shot

So when limited with lens, use some foreground to fill the frame

    Hi,
I used 1/100 at F8 at 200mm on a canon 70-200 4L lens on my canon 50D for this shot. I added the orange later as it brings out the detail better and adds drama. I’m new here so feedback would be great, thanks.
