Can you recommend a studio lighting kit?

Hi all, I am looking to set up a small studio in my house, for portraits mainly. Can anyone recommend a decent lighting kiy that would meet this requirement. My aim is to be able to create professional looking high key portraits (without breaking the bank).
Ai saw the following on Amazon for around 300 which sounds reasonable but would it meet my requirement ? or would it be too much or too little even???..
Appreciate your thoughts,,..
http://www.amazon.co.uk/750W-Studio-Kit-Professional-Photography/dp/B0033N0LXW/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_2#moreAboutThisProduct” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
BarkerPhotographicParticipantHi Ras, We can supply a quality Elinchrom D-Lite kit: http://www.barkerphotographic.ie/products.php?id=1340″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; from only €404. There is not as much kit, but it is really good.
Regarding the Amazon kit: No Brand name?? Sold by Happy Sales UK… would you buy a camera without a brand name??IOPParticipantI’d recommend the D-Lite 4 kit. It has plenty of power for most jobs and of course the parts are easily got from Barker Photographic if a flash strobe goes not due to bad quality but due to crashing down off a light stand :-(

RASMITH32MemberWhat wattage are the lights on the D-Light kit and whats the difference between the D-Lite 4 and D Lite 2 kit (or was that a typo?)
BarkerPhotographicParticipantThe D-Lite 2 heads are 200w and the D-Lite 4 heads are 400w (One f-stop more power).
RASMITH32MemberHi Paddy, Does This kit come with a soft box also?, I have been looking at sourcing other kits in the UK but might be swung if this comes with a softbox?
BarkerPhotographicParticipantHi Raz, There a a few diferent kit options for D-Lites. We have the D-Lite 2 kit with two softboxes reduced to €429, see:
http://www.barkerphotographic.ie/products.php?id=106 or the new D-Lite2-it for €539 Inc VAT. The “it” stands for Intelligent Triggering because the heads have built in Skyport radio Receivers for wireless triggering. The “it” kit is also supplied with a Skyport Transmitter and a 16cm Reflector. A D-Lite 4-it kit is €629. All are in stock.damiendParticipantAs you are doing it in a house small space the dlite 2 would be perfect… you will have more than enough power even at its lowest power setting………………… just on a comment on Barker Photographic have got a couple of things from him including the dlite 2 and have to say its great service
