For a Dodgykeepers son he looks to have made a great save.
As for the photo it is a great capture which I am sure you are very happy with and have it printed and on the wall were it should be.
I don’t think there is anything I would like changed on it but the portrait guys will give you all the techy stuff I am sure.
Nice shot of a great looking kid. You must be very proud. :)
His eyes are tack sharp and engaged with the camera. A lot of people don’t realize how difficult it is sometimes with young children. They never stop moving and keep looking off in different directions. But I’d say your used to that with your sports stuff. I like the light, flat, as would be required with shots of this nature. You never know which way he’ll turn next. I can’t really find anything wrong with this image per-say. Just a couple of things spring to mind. The contrast between him and the bg could be a little better, ie.. darker bg. I don’t like the stripy green and red thing, looks like a carpet or a mat to protect him from falling. My eye is drawn towards it on the right side. You could easily clone it out. A square crop might suit the shot better for framing though landscape mode dosn’t look bad atall.
I like this one
You can feel the intimacy in this shot and this is not something you can capture that easy
The only comment I’d made is about the background that somehow distract me (similar tone to the face, etc.) but I guess if shot in situation there is nothing much you can do about it
