Hello all. Joined here over the weekend, when I spotted the GS645s for sale. Now that I’ve joined, sure I may as well say hello.
I’m in every way an amateur, trying to learn as I go, improve my skills. Started on digital and have since moved to take 99% of my photos on film (MF & 35mm). This is a bit odd, seeing as how my biggest investment in camera terms was a 5D MkII and a 17-40L.I may look to trade those for a better MF system if I find someone looking to go in the opposite direction. For the moment my go-to cameras are:
MF
Mamiya C33 TLR (&105mm f3.5 – nice for portraits)
the Fuji GS645s – although I’m still only getting to grips with it. (had a GA645Zi previously, but sold it due to annoyance with debris in the viewfinder)35mm
Canonet QL17 – have had a few 70s Japanese rangefinders, this has been my favourite of them.
Fuji Natura Classica – recent purchase (new) – not sure I like it that much yet.
Canon T70 – bought this for a song. Again not sure I particularly love it, but it’s often at hand and has rewarded me with some nice shots.Also have been doing the B&W dev at home for a while, but recently gave the E6 and C41 a go, and was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Your photographic journey is interesting and unusual, I’d say, to
see a 5D mk2 kinda surplus to requirements.Good luck.
