No Access To Exrernal hard Drive ** Urgent**

Hope someone can help with this.
I have just tried to access my Lacie external hard drive and i get the following error.
You do not have permission to access the la cie ethernet mini disk as a usb peripheral.
Please contact your network administrator to modify your permissions settings
Never had any trouble before and need to get a document from it in a hurry any ideas.

Right click on ed mini and run as administrator and then had access to the drive.
