I think the main problem is the contrasting sunlight and shade on her face. It’s just too harsh. You would have been better off with her face in shade and some fill flash, or ideally, a reflector.
Like Doug I feel that the blobs of bright sunlight on her face presented
a lighting problem that is really not solveable.
If you had metered for the bright spots everything else would be dark.
Maybe if if you could have repositioned her so that her face had even lighting?
The colour too looks a little odd.
There are various shades of green reflected onto her neck and face which are
not that flattering.
I suppose strong sunlight is never easy to control.
