question on a vintage sekonic lightmeter on ebay

    I don’t know if this is the right section to write this post.
    I want to buy an lightmeter to couple with my Yashica MAT, i’ve decided to go vintage, and i found this item on ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290424819720&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;

    now, this guy is measuring incident light, i’ve found the manual online and it is talking about some lumigrid that you can screw in place of the lumisphere, now, i don’t think this guy on ebay has this accessory so i was wondering if you can find this lumigrid somewhere, is sekonic selling these? are all the lumisphere/lumigrid all the same? i’m thinking that they might be the same ones used in the super-expensive nowadays sekonic lightmeters… any idea?

    and: do you think that auction is worth it?

    That’s a great meter, doesn’t even need batteries-

    Incident metering should be fine for roll film, for 99.9 % of your pictures-

    Although the design isn’t modern, I think you can still buy these new-
    just google it, and you should come up with something-

    I’ve got one, unfortunately the dial fell off, (my fault, I think)
    but since I’ve got a set of baffles for different film speeds,
    it’s still usable…

    Check out completed listing prices,
    should give you an idea how much to bid-
    It’s possible you could get a bargain…
