5faytheParticipantHi Sean,
You have been busy and you have produced
a good selection of photographs.
Probably too many to review on one thread but what the heck…..Two lovely clear images of Fiddy but I think the 2 purple lights connected
to his head in #1 is an error.
Even if there was a gap.
I don’t think it spoils the shot but it does distract.I like the Two Door Cinema Club picture.
My son and myself are musicians and we would like
a photograph like this.
The strong light placed behind the subject is clever.
Nice one.Nice clear image of Paloma Faith and how is she keeping that
light up without a string. Magic? The The Maccabees photograph is well exposed shooting towards the
light and you got a lovely intense blue. Two nice photographs of Kyp Malone with lovely warm colour.
I know stuff blocking a clear view is a hazard of this type of
photography but the black rectangle in the bottom LH corner
of the 2nd image here takes up quite a lot of the frame.Very nice study of Brendan Benson and that golden
yellow colour is very attractive.Jamie T is a good effort too. Maybe a little too much shadow
on his face but good nonetheless. You captured The Blackout very well especially the action in #2.
Excellent photograph of Wolfmother.
Nicely placed in the frame, well exposed
and like the colour again.2 nice studies of Paolo which captures his humour very well.
Pity about the mic shadows but what could you do…Johnny Marrs face is a bit dark but the rays of light are very good.
Difficult to meter this I’d say.The subject in the My Passion image is definitely showing lots of passion
A couple of nice images of Florence & The Machine although the 2nd one
looked like 2 separate photographs.
I think a portrait crop of just the Florence half of the frame (assuming here
that she is Florence) might make an excellent photograph. That’s a very serious stare from the Special.
I’ll have to take a rest after that.
Well done.
John.

thanks John!
I’ll be getting Photoshop soon, so I’ll have a go at clearing some of the errors that you highlighted!
I’ll take on board eveything there, thanks fo your time – surprised the Wolfmother one came out on top though. I love it personally, but I never thought others would! There’ll be more to come soon, hopefully!
