A few slightly unusual situations.

This guy seems to go around Tokyo, stands and leans back, I don’t know why. You can get a better sense of his stance here

if you can find that leaning guy again, try photographing him very up close with a 28 mm wide angle. just a thought, but there is potential for a great shot theredavedunneParticipantstreetshooterMemberGreat shots Martin, especially No. 2 – eccentric in the extreme – great street!
MarkKeymasterMartinOCParticipantesthermolineParticipantThese are brilliant, Tokyo must be a great place for this type of photography. I really like the second one with the two people behind completely absorbed with their mobiles and ignoring the guy, also like the symmetry of it. Thanks a lot for your reply to my post earlier!
iophotoworksParticipantDeeboParticipantVery weird place indeed. Mr Lean is great, could see a whole series of images with him working well
Dee5faytheParticipantHi Martin,
These are excellent and make good viewing.
They are well observed showing something a little out of
the ordinary happening while orinary goes on all around.Well done for seeing it and then having the skill to record it.
Cheers.
John.
richiehatchMemberGreat stuff Martin…! All very well seen and recorded. The leaning man is just brilliant.
This is my idea of street photography.
Richie
miki gParticipantI agree. These are what I think street photography should be. Perhaps us Europeans tend to be a lot more self conscious about being viewed & photographed by strangers in the street than people in Asia? In these the bizarre seems to go very much un-noticed. Well done
MartinOCParticipantCheers for all the comments!
I think that people don’t notice so much because of the amount/density of people here, and using a small camera, and people are expected to be polite in public. So they may not like it but don’t say anything.
Martin
Liam2673Participant3 super shots Martin, my favourite is the first – they look like 3 buddies, where one of them is a Koala bear.
The second one – would it be improved by including the whole clock or excluding it?
