PS: Next Tuesday they want to meet again at 7:30 PM in front of the Dáil so if you want to capture some interesting moments, go there (I remember one guy saying that he would bring a petrol bomb).
If you heard someone saying he was bringing a petrol bomb
you should have photographed him and given the picture to the
polis. People like that are safer in prison (as was proved in Greece
last week). I wonder if you should report it anyway because if you
know a crime is going to be committed you should try to prevent
it.
Good cover, one very nice one in particular. I was actually in town with my camera and was well aware of this march. I was going to cover it, but something else came up so I decided to give to it a miss. I have covered every march in Dublin for the past year with no excitment at all, in fact most are impossibly dull, so I though this would be more of the same. Needless to say I was sick as a parrot hearing about it next day. I’ll be there Tuesday, but there’ll be no trouble. Just watch!
