Payed a visit to Ballyannon Woods this week in search of some Bluebells,
Didn’t get a Bluebell shot worth keeping,
    But I snapped this one.
I’d be interested in hearing any thoughts which ye may have on it………………
And before I’m asked it’s not HDR :)

Well its not a Bluebell thats for sure but it has a nice quality about it, like the way you kept the forground despite the light coming from the background. I would struggle with that big time. Nice shot I like it, calming even…

    Thanks folks,
it was my daughter who asked me to try the shot
it’s probably not everyones cup of tea,
but i just thought that it was a change from the usual stuff I post here,
    thanks again.

    Hi Paul,

There’s a lot to like about this photograph.
Well I like it a lot which I suppose is different.

As Dedalus has said you have kept a load od detail in
the foreground while shooting straight at the sun.

Those twin branches reaching for the sky are impressive.

Lovely sunburst and the blue sky gives a summery feel.

    Yes lots to view.

    I’d say well done.

    Cheers.

    John.
