Bowens or Elinchrom ring flash???

Hey everyone,
I want to get a decent ring flash and was looking at Bowens and Elinchrom’s ring flashes, does anyone have any experience with either of these, what kind of power source do I need? Do you have to use the recommended power packs?So here are the one the flashes I’m looking at

The Elinchrom’s need to be powered by a pack, This can be a mains powered pack, or the more popular battery powered Rangers. The Ranger Quadra is a really neat system and easily portable.
