Not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes. I will be in NYC for about 11 hours at the end of July and I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a good camera shop that sells second hand lenses. Name, Address, website URL would be very handy.
I always hear folks on about the b+h store

No doubt about it – B+H is the place to go.
And the diner in the New Yorker hotel (1 block down from B+H)
is worth a visit too.Another tip is that given you only have a short time there if you spot something you want on their
website email them and tell them that you only have a short time in NYC, they will put the item(s)
aside and give you a stock number. After a week or so they put them back in stock if you haven’t
collected them. It speeds up the process a lot, but you will want to browse in the shop for sure.
Also – Be aware of their opening times, it is run by a Jewish family and they observe
Jewish holidays so if memory serves me right they don’t open friday evening or saturday (even
their website doesn’t take sales on these days) but check their website and you’ll get the details.
