Waterfall & Log

    Ok guys I’ve done no editing to this shot, and i’m not 100% on it either. Any feedback on things i could do please tell me because its one of my favorite shots but i’m stumped for something to do with it.

    Just a few pointers on this image:

    It’s dark.
    I think a better exposed image of this waterfall would have more impact and life.
    Composition is off.
    The waterfall seems cut short and is flowing to the centre of the image. There is also distracting elements

    and dead space

    .


    Context
    I can’t get a feel for the scale of the waterfall. I think moving back a little to show surroundings might help

    thats exactly what i was looking for, its a bit tough to go snap again, its in germany :D but when i head back i’ll have to try again :)

    i took a few pictures but the lighting was off in nearly every one of them for one reason or another.
