FOUND – Canon 24-70mm f/2.8

I have one of these for sale, near mint condition, has had very little use. Also have the following, 5D Mark 1 camera and 16-35mm2.8L lens.
I sold the Canon 5D Mark1 today for €95O. I have decided to keep the 16-35mm2.8L lens, so it’s no longer for Sale.
Is this 24-70 lens still available, if so I will offer the asking price, what is the lens date code?, also if you decide to sell the 16-352.8Llens I will
also take it as long as it’s in good condition,etc.Still looking for a 24-70mm f/2.8

Tell me to mind my own business if you want but as it was Peter who started the thread I think its only fair that Peter has first on the asking price…
Peter started the thread and was replied to by ndari the same day which was Friday but Peter had’nt replied by Monday when I asked the price and its only on Thursday that Peter again replied…..sorry if I upset people but it was left for 3 days and no reply from Peter.

You can tell me to mind my own business also if you like, but imo you can’t post looking for gear, not get back on the thread for almost a fortnight, then accuse others of hijacking surely?

Judging by the dates, was it not a week and three days after the initial post that brownie replied?
Just my tw’ppence worth.
RogThere are a number of things brownie could have done
1.) Start his own thread
2.) Contact the seller via PM
3.) Ask me if I am interested in the lens
4.) Numerous other options
5.) etc.By the way I was in contact with the seller via email, he also provided me his mobile number, but learnt he already had a number of interested parties looking at the lens on Monday.
I did not want to get into a bidding war!!!!!
Can we end this messaging???????????????? If not I’ll start a new thread that brownie can joinSorry Peter….the lens is still for sale as I had a bit of a mis-hap on the way to view the lens yesterday
and was unable to travel there….I contacted the seller to tell him I would’nt be going there in the near
future and that he could offer the lens for sale again….sorry about any hassle.Noel.
