I have the following and would like a brief mini/macro lesson on what each of these lenses can do and what situations i can use em….i have been away from all this for a year, and now with obvious brain damage i seem to be forgetting much quicker than i would like, so here goes on my collection:
pointing me to a free tutorial site on the web would be fine, if this all sounds rather fiddly.
I would love some help on this, miss the ole photography and have an arts award to even begin yet alone finish, and due in last FEB!
bit behind eh?
xx to all

Not much you can’t do with most lenses, in some fashion. If you need inspiration check out flickr, where there are groups dedicated to most lenses, along with a hefty pool of user images shot with the lens in question
The only macro lens is the Sigma 105, forget about the zooms. If you want to shoot macro, you need good tripod and head and I also recommend polarizer to eliminate reflections (white diffuser is also useful).
And shoot only with 10s timer or remote shutter to minimize camera vibrations (also use mirror lock).
Thank you Damien and MMX.
I was disappointed to hear from a photographer friend that my best lens is not suitable for my camera.
I had to downsize due to disability.
also a second lens as well is not suitable.
the guy said they were very good lenses so shall put them up for sale, they were for my Nikon camera. I now have a canon.
I am getting there i think.
