    Hi all
Just printed this image for the 1st time in a large size. See what you guys think. :)

This is the image but if you click on the link below there is an option underneath the image on my site to view it in a much larger size.

Nice image Enda, love the smoothness of the water and the reflection in the pool.

The only thing i’m not sure about is the green railing – why did you choose to leave it in instead of perhaps moving forward a couple feet and giving the red rust railing and steps more prominence?

    Thanks Jason
I was using the railing and the 2 steps to lead your eye into the scene. I was also using them to give a sense of scale.

    Hi Enda

I can see you were at the extremes of the lens to include the steps and also Bray head on the left – it had occurred to me you might have got the same result with the other steps though maybe at the cost of some foreground – maybe your compromise is the better as obviously i can only guesstimate from the screen image where as the physical would offer so many other obstacles.

ps. the flickering i had previously mentioned on your site images seems to have stopped – its a pleasure now looking through the images :)

    Hi Jason
Ya you were right about the limits of the lens, but also I felt without the steps you would have one third of the image that appeared like a wall of stone and needed something to strengthen the composition.

That’s strange about the flickering. Glad to see it has sorted itself out. :)
