Snakes and Crocs!

interessssssssting friends :)
the first shot is nicely focused on the eyes though would like the tongue to be sharper. the second shot if you look at it seems to be focused on the left side scales whereas the eye of the snake is out of focus.
what settings are you using (what camera do you use) ?

They were taken around a year ago when i had just started to i think it would have been portrait mode on my canon 1000d and taken with the standard lense supplied.
The second one was actually supposed to be focused on the scales as we used that portion of the pic for our business card!!! Should have stated that alright from the start!!! :oops: :oops:
Here are a few more pics from that same shoot… i’m going to do a whole new shoot this week with all my new knowledge :D
This is fairly soft but just thought i’d pop it up so you can see the croc… she’s 4ft now!!!
