Changing white background colour to cream-ish?

Hi, I’ve got my first session in a studio coming up. The studio has a white cyclorama. I’m just wondering is it possible to change the white background to a sort of light cream/coffee kinda colour without having to buy/hire a background support/paper etc. Could this be done with gels or some other inexpensive way?

Could probably done simply enough in Photoshop, or maybe a
cheap kingsize bedsheet? Not much help am I? Not sure
how you go about changing backgrounds in PS I would take a
picture of the background first, change the colour and then
layer your subjects on afterwards….. the long way round
most probably!! see told you I wasnt much help

Thanks for the tips & link guys. I was hoping not to have to do it post processing. I’ll give it a shot and if I can’t get the look I want, I guess I’ll just have to splash out on a background support afterall!

you dont need a background support just use gaffer tape and a bed sheet out of a bargain bin :)

aternatively if you have room use a bit of gel to colour the background without it splashing the subject

    worth a mention :)

Gel filters will be the fastest way to do it, it is possible to do in in Photoshop but it´s too slow and complicated
