damn it, and here I was believing something too good too be true was true.
Oh no are you serious???? I ordered two lenses from them the week before last…I’m still waiting on them…but I got an email this morning saying that they had been dispatched. Fingers crossed they will arrive!!!
What can I do if I dont get them??If an offer looks too good to be true – it usually is.
I guess you’ll have to wait until their deleivery times expire ( 5-10 working days or whatever).
Go to your credit card company to get a refund if delivery fails. You will suffer no loss if you paid by CC.
I guess its a couple of lads in a house in the UK – buying the stuff in Hong Kong as they take web orders on an ‘unsecured’ site. They, for instance charge you £1000, buy it in Asia for £850 – then take a profit.

Bought a lens from this place a couple of years ago… got a email saying item dispatched etc no lens in a week or so… so trying to contact them is pointless. I called the shipping company to check to see if the lens was on it’s way and it wasn’t… took me 6 weeks to get my money back. But they keep telling me that the lens was shipped… not a good place to deal with.

Well its still within the 10 working days and I just checked the tracking number with DHL and there is an order showing that arrived in the sort facility in Gatwick last night and was shipped to Dublin this morning and is now being processed in Dublin. I still have hope :)
Also the email that I recieved from SE seems to be fine, it says that the order is being monitored and to let them know when I recieve it. Fingers crossed eh!!Sure Chris, it was €535 in total.

Just checked DHL and its left Dublin and in the Cork depot now…hopefully I’ll have it today or tomorrow.Yes, well known scammers. Liz, start thinking about contacting your credit card company – but I hope to be proven wrong!
Well thankfully we were all proven wrong, I recieved my lenses today! I must say if I had not read any of the bad reviews I would be praising SE as I can not fault them on this order and the lenses are perfect from what I can see. I dont know what to say to anyone considering them, I may have been lucky this time around but you can not ignore the hundreds of bad reports on the different websites.
I might try something cheap to start off with. I see they have an Irish phone number – anyone ever try it?
