I’m not sure if this belongs in here and I don’t normally take these type of shots so any C&C, opinions or whatever else springs to mind is most welcome.
It was shot in very harsh light at around midday, aperture selection and corresponding shutter speed was deliberate and I thought it better as a conversion rather than colour. To do this I decreased saturation slider to the left and increased contrast to +65 in ACR, opened up in editor cropped 800px long and finalised with Unsharp Mask before saving as Jpeg you see.
I myself think it looks better in a larger size which you can see here

Well get ready for comments like ” its too dark” or ” i’d like to see faces”,
I like it though and the darkness adds to it in my book. I might crop out a little more sky, there’s nothing really there
of use to the image.
hi there,
I wasnt sure I liked it last night but today on this monitor I love it. Great shot and well captured. I like the fact you cant see the faces and that there are little stories happening all over the place. The two supended jumpers are great too:)
Hi Mikka.
I agree with andrea about little stories happening around the place in this & it works very well. I would think about cropping some from the RHS & sky, but maybe it’s fine just the way it is. Well done.
