no ones gunna comment on these? wow.

i really like that third shot bobby, its a little on the grey side though, and the vignetting is a bit on the heavy side. did you process them in lightroom?

    Hi Bobby.
I can’t pick a favourite from these. All of them are great IMO but they look a little dark on my monitor & the vignetting in #3 looks a bit heavy. A great set though. Well done

    Bobby,

Good shots, agree with Miki & Rob, the vignetting in the third shot is a bit strong. I think these shots have great potential, composition is great but they are all a bit dark. IMHO if they were brightened up a little (any more and you would loose the feeling you are trying to portray) and play around with the contrast you would have great images

Thanks for the replies. I am going through a dark b&w phase at the moment, its tough to lighten them up but i know it makes sense. i agree with the comments on the last shot, it started out very flat and i wanted to jazz it up a bit with darker areas here and there but i can see it looks overcooked. I’m just using gradient maps in CS4 to process these as they add some drama to skies.

I like second most, but as noticed already they are too dark.

I absolutely love the second shot – the cloud dusting the mountain is very atmospheric.
Would love to know your workflow for the B&W conversion.
