all shots are hdr,(3 Shots -2,0,+2) some times (-3,-1,+1) depends on lightingProcessed in Photomatix,
Strength 100
Microcontrast 10
increased Gamma until got histogram somewhere in the middlePhotoshop
Nik Software – Pro Contrast (default Settings)
Nik Software – Midnight Filter (Blur 0, Brightness 70-80%, Color 60-70%)thats it

Hi Phillip,
To be honest I’m not all that gone on the processing. Looks a bit overdone to my eye.
For me documentary should be about the content/context and not the processing if you know what I mean…Other than that, I quite like them. Have a thing for old houses like that :)

I’d agree with Mark. Overcooked HDR’s are not very pleasant. B&W conversion may have been a better option – maybe a bit of sepia toning?
1 & 2 are good while the third is a bit too busy. There’s something poignant about the fourth one. Nice set.Love the set, I think the hdr is great also, gives the images an erie energy.
