I think they’re really nice. But I would tone down that orange a bit, even if it looked very close to that at the time. It just looks a bit oversaturated to me.
SeaviewParticipantI like these too, I agree with Brian regarding the orange colour it does look over saturated. Also in the first shot I think a little extra room between the first bale and edge of the frame would look better.
Dave.
Green glensParticipantNo 2 is excellent Brendan, just less orange!……John!
Love those corn fields!
PitmaticMemberI wish we had a sunset today just rained horizontal here :(
Anyone I like them both but agree about needing more space around the bale and the end of its shadow in the first and the orange is a bit strong but its a personal taste thing so I wont comment on that.
Mark
b318ispParticipantThanks guys. The orange does look oversaturated but it was very close to this in reality (you can see the greens and blues are not so saturated). I did try a reduction in sats, but it effected all colours and made the shot too muted – see below. I must look into a selective colour desaturation instead. I’ll also check the orginal RAW to see if I over cropped the first.

I am sure you already know this Brendan but without working on the master hue and sat adjustment use the
drop down menu. Red should decrease your orange and yellow improve the greens…..John!Beeker40ParticipantHi Brendan
Nice images love the glow and understand it is a little orange but that was what you were viewing.
I am also in Ratoath and took something similar on the road to Skyrne.
I must upload to get your C&C. :P
