A really great shot Gary. My eye just runs through the shot from the great action on the water in the foreground to the castle and on to the island lit up by the sun. If I was to raise some points for consideration (hard to do on pictures this good) I would say move the camera ever so slightly to the right to take in more of the island in the background. You may lose some of the great highlights on the cliff face on the left , so maybe thats a debatable one. Theres a bit of noise in the sky top left (on my screen anyway) but I suspect this doesnt exist in the uncompressed master copy.
Lovely shot. What apeture / shutter speed did you use and what filters did you use?
Hi Ras as Dave says this is about as far right you can go before going for a swim and its actually the furthest ive ever gone and i was a bit nervous to be honest as the waves can come in quite hard.
It was shot at f16, 0.3 secs ISO250. 17mm. I used LEE ND grads and may have actually stacked two of them but i cant fully remember.
