Epson Printer Problem HELP!

  Hi i recently got a new Apple Mac laptop, the version is Mac OS X version 10.6.4

  I have a printer Epson Stylus R2400 for about four years now.

  It simply wasnt producing the goods in the print department.
  Nothing was improving the colour callibration
  Well i downloaded a new driver, as i read that it actually MAY not be compatible with the newer model of Apple.

  Still no joy. I would dearly love help here veyr much.
  How do i get mega good prints out of this damn printer? I used to!!!
