Show your Clients your Photos Proof on the web!

johnnycorcoranParticipant
I’m looking for a site to show clients the pictures proof from the day I shoot.
So they can click their favor photos and buy online through credit / debit card.Also I’m hoping it can link to my website.
See what I mean > http://www.onlinepictureproof.com/yourstudioname/albums/wedding/132/browse/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
As this website http://www.onlinepictureproof.com” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; cost $30 a month ($360 a year) seems alots to me!So do you know a good website that can put all my photos on the web to show the proof to the clients and the credit / debit card?
Cheers!
johnnycorcoranParticipantjohnnycorcoranParticipantHi all..Think that 30 dollars a month worth for the online proof pictures??

Maybe with credit / debit card!Johnny,
I don’t understand what you mean by a good online proof picture ?
I suspect others mightn’t either, hence the lack of replies…Cheers
robertMemberI use this
http://lr.theturninggate.net/html-galleries/ttg-client-response-gallery/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
which is a plug-in for LightroomA small one-off payment to buy a licence, but of course you must have Lightroom
LollyParticipantHi,
I’m looking into this service at the moment:
http://www.onsight.ie/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
It’s a one off payment of €800 which is hefty but think it’s good value for what you get. I called them for info and they seem very helpful.
Laura :)paulParticipantI have hosting and build web galleries using Adobe Lightroom. Minimal work for the output.
fichParticipantI think Gallery2 could do some of the work. I usually tried to set it up along with some blog, like Wordress, but it should work standalone fine as well. Another option is to add some kind of extension (e.g. e-commerce plugin) to WordPress or Joomla site.
martinkingphotosParticipantI seem to remember another member of my camera club using http://www.zenfolio.com for something like this.
Also, I think you can give your clients a login so they only see their pictures.
But best to check it for yourself in case I’m mixing it up with something else.
Martin.RGH_PhotographyMemberI have been with Clik Pic, Amazing Internet and another company i cant remember. I now use http://www.phosys.com” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; and they are by far the best i have used to date. They built me a custom site and give excellent support, even if your not to sure about the software they provide you can call and ask them anything and they will explain it or even show you with remote assistance. The sites run flash and i have been so happy with mine and uploading is so quick and easy. Well worth £35 per month!
My site is http://www.rghphotography.co.uk if you want a look.
johnnycorcoranParticipantThank guys!
I like most of your link.. Is there a way that just do the “online Album” WITHOUT design a website? Cos I have my own website http://www.johnnycorcoran.ie” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; but would add a new link just as “Client Log in”Seems most of those link HAVE TO create a new website and get a Online Album with it!! or they can do to link my website?

It is for exactly this reason that I use the “Turning Gate” plugin for Lightroom as mentioned earlier as my solution. I can create a client on-line proof set almost automatically and export it to a specific sub-page on my website dedicated to the specific client. This cannot be seen directly by anyone, but I have a ‘client area’ page on my website which allows access to it if you know the unique password (which I supply to the client)
The client can choose their selection and automatically email back to me their choices.fichParticipantJust took a look at your site and have to note that I liked the style and design.
As for the online album: why not try setting up a sub-domain like http://clients.johnnycorcoran.ie” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; , where you can actually make a fresh installation of e.g. Gallery 2 or use the solution by robert. Another option (haven’t explored it in detail) is using Picasa Albums, in which you would define access to certain e-mail addresses; however, there would be several drawbacks, namely, lengthy address and clients would have to deal with Google registration, etc.
All in all, I would suggest putting just a link on your current page that leads to clients area or use a sub-domain that is easy to remember.
