Id like to dedicate this shot to the memory of my Lee Big Stopper filter which i cracked on the rock at this exact spot. Totally dumb thing to do as i leaned on my filter pouch trying to retrieve the plastic bubble level i had dropped in the water. :(
£100 quid down the drain and to the back of the queue for another one.
    Sigh

    Thanks for looking :)

I like this Gary. Simple composition and it works…! Good luck to you getting a Big Stopper. I’ve been on lists for 3 or 4 months now with no success. Was talking to Studio Kit Direct in the UK and they said Lee have back orders of 10,000 filters and are taking no more orders. I sold my B+W ten stopper as it was annoyingly difficult to use with the Lee System. If ye do happen to find a supplier that has some in stock let me know…!

Lovely shot of the waterfall. Great detail throughout and like the contrasting golden colour on the hill top.

    Hi Gary,

Clearly a productive trip down south!

One of the best Ive seen of this much photographed scene.

The water is just the right consistency to be realistic. The only thing I would say (other than Im jealous :) )would be that the rocks to the left of the fall are a tad bright, and slightly upset the balance…..

    Love it anyway

    Very nice, Gary!
I like the contrasting tones on the bottom left-upper right diagonal – warm rich autumn trees vs cold and bluish spring.
Beautiful, and yes! here’s another jealous individual :)
