Taken on Wed 27th Oct 2010 – It was freezing cold, blowing a gale and i had already slipped in a bog earlier and was soaked.

    Lough Tay, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow.

The northern coastline forms part of an estate belonging to the Guinness family; it is edged with a beach of startlingly (shipped in) white sand, the dark peaty water and the white sand create a striking similarity to a pint of Guinness.

    So they say.

    B+W 110 10 stop and Hoya ND8

Ohhh the joys of Landscape Photography…

But… the shot was totally worth it in my opinion and the times we spend in total silence appreciating nature are priceless. Well Done!
