I havent posted 2 photos before ! Even posting one is quite a challenge at times. Anyway, took these on the seafront Clontarf this morning, sun still lowish. Any thoughts ?

or colour version and different crop

    Hi Sean,

I think these are quite nice.
You have got a good exposure, I think, despite shooting towards the sun.

I find the colour photograph more interesting.
The delicate colour showing in the foreground is more attractive to me than
that showing in the foreground in the mono photograph.

I might try little crop off the bottom of both images especially the colour one where I
would consider cropping up to the horizontal line.

    Very nice.
    Well done.

    John.

I prefer the colour version also, the low sun has given it a lovely
light and colour which is lacking in the black and white. Not sure
if the pole on right adds to the scene though, maybe if the top of
    it had been included?

Hmm..ahem..just trying to get me act together..i ve been havin a few drinks tonight in a few houses on the street ..yes thanks for the comments. that bus stop is always beautiful this time of year in the morning with the winter sun behind it and all these silhouettes waiting for the bus to come, but today nobody was waiting because of the snow so all the silhouettes were in transit down to the bus depot to catch the buses for town. So, no takers for the black and white ?..though I like the colours also in 2nd photo….yeah the lamppost is a bit cut off there, will see if its possible to include all of it another morning and re jig the foreground also…thanks..sean

    Lovely shots Sean.

I prefer the B/W tbh. The figure is better position imo and the foreground is more pleasing too.The pole doesn’t really bother me at all.

    Well done.
