    Took these last weekend, Canon 40D, Sigma 18-50mm and Formatt soft grad filters. Times like this I wish I had a 10-20mm lens.

    I prefer the second, I like the positioning of the clouds, I’d have allowed a bit more into the LHS of the photo, it is cropped right on the line where sea touches beach.

    saw these on your flickr,only one thing i`d say is the castle looks a tiny bit soft!!!
    will be easy fixed tho 8)

    That was the lens at 18mm :( I could not have moved further back as I would have started to get alot of grass into the foreground.

    I see your point though, been thinking about a 70-200 but a 10-20 is also on my list.

    The castle looks alright in the second one, which would be my pick of the 2.

    A great location, but a bloody hard climb back up the steps.
