Digital Camera obscura :-)

  Camera obscura (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_obscura” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;)

  what i did:

  I took EOS/M42 adapter ring and sticked into aluminum foil, after that i disconnected lens from camera and connected adapter, than i made a small hole in the center of the ring with pin (very small) :-) everything looks like that:

  Hi Chris,

  I’ve moved this to the Lofi forum as you’ve made a digital pinhole camera. I think you’ve made a very good job of it tbh.
  I like the last photo alot. Not sure why, perhaps its the fact that its a scene in many people’s kitchen that often isn’t
  seen as worthy of being photographed. Anyhow, lets see more.

  Definitely worth seeing if you can get more sharpness from the pinhole lens…

  hmmmm, i dont know, how to make smaller hole :-) to get sharper pix, this which i made last time was really , really small :-)

  instead of poking a hole put the needle on the foil and use small rotations to slowly make the hole, type making a pinhole camera into google and you’ll get some good sites mostly for film users but principal is the same.

  I was considering trying something like this myself. What kind of reading did the camera give for the shot? (if you can remember of course). I presume it gives a reading of 0 for aperture.

  yes, 0 for aperture, all other settings in exif data (i always live metadata:-) )

  Thanks for that Chris. I’ll definately give it a try in the next week or 2, just have to make a pinhole cover for the camera. I like the graininess of the kitchen shot :)
