Evening Reception Photos
-
ExpresbroParticipant
I recently attended a friends wedding as a guest and took my camera along as I told them I’d take some Reception pics for them after the main photographer left.
It’s something I really enjoy as it’s non pressurised compared to being the Main photographer and it’s the kind of photography I prefer. Plus it keeps me out of trouble and stops me getting bored ;-)
Some images from the evening…All comments welcome.
johnnycorcoranParticipantExpresbroParticipantThanks Johnny…appreciated. A few more that I hadn’t uploaded to my Flickr earlier, which I like.
Forgive me for the multiple posts…it’s been a while ;-)
Robbie
johnnycorcoranParticipantYes defo yes..you got a nice colour there..like the angle shot..time to take up wedding jobs?
ExpresbroParticipantAh part of me would love to Johnny…but it’s just a lot of pressure…I’ve done second shooter a couple of times and shot a friends wedding…but It’s a big jump from doing the occasional favour for a friend to depending on it for my living. I admire you for taking the jump yourself, and anyone who does it for a living has my respect. If all I had to worry about was the Photography it would be an easy enough decision.
I think if the chance came and I could do it part time, doing portrait work and social photography along with a more regular income I’d most likely give it a go. But see…I want the best of both worlds ;-) Ever the super cautious procrastinator I am :-)
oldgardenstudioParticipantRobMemberRobbie! Good to see you still posting. Nice set there, gives a good
feel of how the reception went…warrnerMemberWAW…..the bride is looking so cute. Quality off all pics are good.
Nice idea but on my screen too much brightness to left of bride, dress is blended in to background.jodal1975ParticipantrichardbradleyMemberTher’re great and you create good light – is it just an off camera speedlite in the 3rd pic of your 1st post?
Which software are u using to soften the skin – is it just photoshop or a portriat program?
Always trying to improve the indoor technique with winter approaching!
