OK…looks like I’m the only one that thinks the colour could be a little too harsh or slightly over saturated…sorry but I’ve gotta say what I see. The composition of the jetty does guide you into the image but once you’re in there you get lead right out of the image again with the bright sky/dark head land whereas I’m wondering what those lights are behind the jetty – a town?
It’s certainly an interesting image, no doubt, but I’ve got to give my worth when I critique.

    Good shot but?
    What bothers me is:
Too much blue in the sky and see a lot of noise.

    Cheers .

nice shot, Love the sharpness, really makes the image for me. not over saturated for me. Small bit of noise in the sky but easily fixed. The composition of the shot would be better if you stepped slightly to the left such that the jetty would run your eye to the distant lights / town. Also feel that the shot is a bit dark on the right hand side. Almost like there was a graduated filter in place for a portrait shot and the camera was rurned leaving the filter in its original place.

Overall, a good shot but (for me) slight;y unbalanced based on the issues noted above

this wouldnt be in donegal in a place called fagan? or something similar would it?

    stew:)
