RIMG0009 by keveb11, on Flickr[/img]Hi all,
These shots were taken from my room on Jan 24th 2011. What an amazing sunset, hard to believe these are in Cork city Ireland.
Hope you like, and please let me know what you think, with my new DSLR camera I hope to take even better photo’s, that is if I ever figure the dam thing out.
Cheers,
Kev
MarkKeymasterHi Kev,
I’m going to move these and the other critique type posts into the appropriate forums for you :)
Thanks
shutterbugParticipantkeveb08ParticipantAmazing, how my photos were moved here, and only for you Jenny no one comments,
the reason I posted them in the beginners section is that I am a beginner and looking for comments and feedback
shutterbugParticipantDont be despondant Kev, it goes like that critique can be slow sometimes, doesnt mean
much. Keep posting! There are many ways to learn and critique is only one of them, go through the posts and
pick out the shots you really like then ask questions about how it came about, most people
love talking about their own stuff  and are more than willing to explain the technicalities
of it.MarkKeymasterKev,
The photos were moved here as you are looking for critique :)
These are nice photos, not sure there is enough of the trees to make them more interesting tbh.
By the way, you have a mark/dust on all the images top right quadrant.animalParticipantHi nice shots , No 1 & 2 i like ,im not so sure about the black & white . The Sky in No2 is lovely it has a nice soft feel to it . Well Done bud.
keveb08ParticipantThanks Mark,
Ya that mark was pointed out to me, but thank God this was taken with my old point and shoot camera and not my new DSLR camera, I hope I get another sunset like this to shoot with the new camera, well that is if I ever figure the dam thing out, ha ha,
Kev
snaphappyMemberHi Kev great exposure control in all three but the composition is a tad lacking if you are going to use trees as your focal point it would be better not to crop them and especially if you are doing a sillouette it would make for a stronger composition to have a larger proportion of the image dark at the bottom
