Looks like a lack of contrast in this shot Liam and I would be tempted to crop out a lot of the foreground, at least up to the last of those black marks on the road. They catch the viewers eye and yet add nothing to the photo which does give a sense of isolation. The figure adds to the scale of the vista.
Does the convergence of the poles and the road hold the eye back from moving up to the mountains? If the road was cleaner you could try cloning them out and testing the impact. As it stands, the dirty road is a terrible distraction and takes away from the impact of the road leading into the picture.
