  Hi all,

  I’m not sure if this the right spot for this topic, but on the tin it says “everything else” :)
  So, under the above title there are 5 Romanian films screening in Dublin:

  1. The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu – documentary – 18 February, 19:30, Light House Cinema Smithfield.
  2. Medal of Honour – drama – 19 February, 18:30, Light House Cinema Smithfield.
  3. Portrait of the Fighter as a Young Man – historical action drama – 20 February, 18:15, Light House Cinema Smithfield.
  4. Hello, how are you? – comedy – 20 February, 20:45, Screen Cinema.
  5. Morgen – drama – 24 February, 18:15, Light House Cinema Smithfield.

  I haven’t seen any of them, but the reviews are good, each one of the movies were awarded last year in international film festivals. I can’t recommend any of them, it will be trial and error, but all I can say they are a good reflection of my country’s past and present. Tickets are not expensive, so it should be money well spent for two hours.

  I’ve already seen medal of honour and would recommend a viewing for anyone who can get to it.
