Manx Airlines – crash at Cork Airport

  I have just heard that a Manx Airlines flight to Cork crashed this morning, with some fatalities.

  I hope nobody from the forum or any family/friends were involved – there are a lot of members from Cork.

  I have been on the Manx flight form Belfast to Cork a few times …

  Absolutely Brian !.

  There is coverage online on the rte and tv3 websites. BBC Northern Ireland are probably doing the same.

  I have travelled a lot on regional/commuter flights. I was on that flight about 10 weeks ago – and would have been on it regularly if I had won the bit of business in Cork that I was pitching for – every cloud …

  I became very casual about that kind of routine air travel. This event has really rattled me.
