I went to Whelans last night to see the Cujo Family play an acoustic set. The conditions for photography were shocking, the area they were playing in was right in front of the front door and they were crammed into a corner, not to mention the lighting. The only lens that was able to get light into it was my 50mm, I even needed to have the iso at 6400 and shutter speeds of about 1/30 handheld. I also used manual focus for the whole shoot for the first time What annoyed me most was that the band had no space, in a lot of the photos the ends of guitars and banjos were in the way of their faces. Anyway enough complaining and excuses :P here they are, please excuse the noise.
