Interesting subject-matter!
I prefer teh plain background – maybe try to make teh same colour background throughout?
BM, thanx for the input. The first shot was taken before I got the drawing paper backdrop fully in place. = SOOO much to think about in such a simple photo.
Today was my first day in a drawing class and was given this little model to draw. Since I had my p&s in my pocket, I tried a few shots. Very interesting to try.
Next week I have to arrange and draw some junk the instructor will place in front of me. That should be even more interesting. I’ll drag the DSLR along for future classes.
And my drawings are much worse than my awful photos. :)
2nd and 3rd backround is the way to go alright Ted. Maybe if you added a figure of a character (lego?) you could play around with the depth of field etc..(just an idea).
joeJoe, thanx, good idea. But the Cancer Center, where I take the class, isn’t the best place to find props.
Next time I’ll have control over DOF. As it was I just stuck some drawing paper under/behind the model and pressed the shutter.
