  I had intended to take photos of the super moon but i couldn`t even see it :(
  Took this free hand before i headed home..
  no filters.
  1 shot used 3 times in photomatix and converted using DPP

  Great shot :) i wanted to get pictures of the moon also but we had a storm last night :(

  Dave I think that ‘line’ in the foreground that occurs in the pathway is a natural cropping out point and that blown out area in the sky should be afforded some detail. Otherwise it shows a nice sense of composition.

  Tex i know what you mean about the bit of blown out sky but i just couldn`t get that part right without losing the detail in the rest of the sky :?

  I`ll be back down there soon as i have a few ideas i`d like to try,so i`ll have another go and bring my tripod and filters this time :D
